Castle Canine Care is a home-based dog day care in Slingsby, North Yorkshire where dogs are loved and cared for like family. We provide a safe and caring environment for your furry friend while you are out at work.
We Treat Your Dogs Like Our Own
Day Care Services
Our Day Care service is run from our home, and the dogs have free roaming access to all downstairs rooms during the day, as well as the garden.
If your dog is not fond of playing with others, or is older and needs a quiet space to snooze the day away, we have separated areas within the house to accommodate them also.
Outside, we have a secure paddock where dogs can run and play with no risk of escape. The paddock has agility equipment, toys, tunnels etc and a paddling pool for summer.

Our home sits in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and we have miles of land for walking around us.
For additional safety, we have 24 hour CCTV in and around our property.

Home Boarding services for holidays is available for our regular Day Care guests, please ask us for details.
We have a 5-STAR Home Boarding and Day Care licence from North Yorkshire Council 23/00428/DHB/E
About Us
Castle Canine Care is Christine and Samantha , with occasional help from the rest of the family, Megan, Chloe and Michael.
As a family we have owned many dogs over the years, from rescuing a gorgeous Great Dane right the way down to owning a little Dachshund.

As well as being canine first aid trained, and DBS checked, Samantha has a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management and FdSc in Veterinary Nursing. Ongoing research and study is important to us as a family as it helps us to be sure that your dog is 100% settled and happy whilst in our care.
​
Dogs are family. We understand that you worry about leaving your dog when you need to go to work, or are heading out for the day. Our aim is to treat your dog in the same way as our own in a fun, safe and secure environment.
